Feeling Anxious!

We find out next Friday the gender and it is starting to get to me. I remember wanting to know with Madeleine but I don't think I was so anxious. It seems to be on my mind and a little nagging feeling inside. I don't want to stay as busy as I was this week but maybe a little busy will make next week go by fast.
Here is the 16 week belly shot.

Jahno found a Texas A & M outfit for Madeleine at Cracker Barrel. It is a little big but so cute. There are little bloomers with ruffles on the rear. Here are some pictures but again she was running up to me as I tried to take the picture.

I got the May Calendar started and it is booked!!! I would like to work out everyday but not sure that is going to happen so I am determined to do it 3 times a week...that is going to happen. Then there is Mom's Club stuff weekly, along with a trip to Armand Bayou, the fire station and a Mom's Night Out to Mystic Nails. I also have lots of bridal and baby showers to attend. We have the Mom's Day Cookout, a weekend in Austin with Jahno's work and a trip to Arkansas for Sarah's Shower. Wow, my planner has never seen so much ink! Oh, and of course FINDING OUT THE GENDER!!! There should be tons of interesting May blogs! :-)

April is almost over

Sunday at Church Madeleine was really hyper. She did not want to sit still and was talking not stop and would not whisper. We had fellowship group and she was running around the gym/fellowship hall. Totally not normal Madeleine. Monday I noticed a sand paper rash so I called the doctor. They wanted me to talk to a nurse before I could make an appointment and they of course did not call me back until they were almost closed. I took her to the doctor Tuesday morning and everything looked great. No strep, No ear infections and the rash could be anything so we are just putting lotion on it. My throat was hurting and I noticed a spot on my tonsil so I made an appointment for me. I have an ulcer on my tonsil which could be caused by stress and basically have to let it run its course. So the house is strep free!

Madeleine crashed on the way home from Church while reading Elmo.

Madeleine running after me while I was trying to take a picture.

She stopped but wouldn't smile.

So I read this article that stated 60% of Pregnant Women who did water aerobics had an easier drug-free labor even though it was the same length as women who did not. I had a pretty easy labor with Madeleine but still easier sounds nice. So I did the Water Aerobic class today and it was tough! I have made comments about it is for little old ladies which there were mainly seniors but it is not as easy as I thought. Oh and there were 2 men in the class, young men and one was a Marine and one of the guys left early because he couldn't handle it. (his words) I felt the burn and I was extremely tired and noodle like when I got out of the pool. It was fun and I felt like I got more out of it than just swimming. I will be back on Friday.

It is Raining Again...

So, I figured I better blog before I got fussed at. I went and looked at gyms on Friday and the best choice was 24 hour. We worked out Saturday morning which was great but I felt like a noodle afterwards. Madeleine loved her center also and did not want to leave the slide. Madeleine and I were banished from the house so Jahno could catch up on work. We stayed at Kimmie's and Grand Dad's. Grand Dad got Madeleine a "motorcycle". I will have to get the pictures from Kimmie because my camera was dead. She spent a long time riding around. We went to the gym again today and well...it was an adventure. I left my swimsuit at my parents and the only other one I had that I thought would fit was my maternity one. I was a little worried when we got there because the gym was packed! I dropped Madeleine off and headed to the locker room which was also packed. I put on my suit only to realize it swallowed me. Oh yeah, when I bought the suit of was 8 months pregnant with Madeleine. Ok, I will just run to the pool and no one can tell when I am in the water The pool area was packed, there were people in the hot tub, in the sauna and of course people in the pool. There was one lane open so I got in. Jahno had taken my pass and goggles to work so I had nothing. In the lanes next to me were some hard core swimming, with swim caps, flippers and kick boards using swim lingo and here I am in a swim suit that would have fit a whale, no goggles and huffing and puffing after 2 laps. Oh and I needed to shave. So, I would like to find a time where the gym is dead...and I will make sure I have all my gear and a swimsuit that fits. Madeleine has a doctors appointment and we will post more later.

Nice Surprise

Ms. Ann called and asked if we were home because she had a surprise for Madeleine. She brought us a big bag of balloons. Someone had a 60th Birthday and they filled her office with the Balloons. This was funny because Dr.Klein gave Madeleine a balloon and she walked around all morning telling everyone "Balloon, Balloon". I dumped out the balloons and Madeleine had a ball. She was trying to keep them all together.

Then she took my bottle of water and a marker and was blowing bubbles. I told her she was cute and a few seconds later she said, "I'm cute".

Thursday the 23rd

Last night was a rough night. I actually fell right asleep before Jahno even came to bed and stayed asleep when he did come up so that was great. But then Madeleine woke up several times crying and I woke up several times in between to potty. Finally sometime after 4:30am, I kicked Jahno and he went to check on her. I did hear Madeleine crying, "Up, Up" so I assume he rocked her for a little bit. Usually no matter how bad the night was she still gets up at the same time, not today. I had to go get her but at 8:30 and she did not want to get up. She looked at me, stretched, rolled over and went back to sleep. The days I have to be somewhere are the days she wants to sleep. Anyways since we had a rough night and we were going to the doctor I told her we could get donuts. We got to Shimply's and there was a line in the drive through, I told Madeleine ti would be just a little bit longer. We moved up one spot but there were still 3 cars in front of us, all of a sudden Madeleine says, "MOVE CARS!!!" I busted out laughing!
We got to the Doctors and were waiting and Madeleine yelled, "I POO POO!" OMG, I was soooo embarrassed! It seemed like everyone there was pregnant and they all looked and grinned. I check but Madeleine had not gone. She told me this several more times but hadn't gone. We get called back, I had to give a sample...that was hard. Madeleine was trying to get a cup also and I am having to watch her while hurry and take care of me. I have gained 15 pounds already and I have not been eating nearly as much as I ate with Madeleine. Dr.Klein said I BP and weight looked great. I told him it didn't and I had already gained 15 pounds. He asked "the question", Have you been exercising? Nope...so he told me to start a class or something. I have also had issues with meats so he told me to just stop eating them and get my protein through other things like beans and start drinking ensure for now. So, I am changing my diet and exercising, which I needed to anyways but I was really shocked he told me to just cut out meat all together for now. Also, I did get another migraine so he wants me to see a nuerologist because he can't prescribe anything more than Tylenol 3. I don't like taking the Tylenol 3 and I worry about taking anything stronger. Especially since every time I turn on the TV there is a commercial about how some medicine caused awful things when it was thought to be safe. Anyways. The shock I got on Saturday did not effect the baby. (Wet hands and old light switch don't mix) The heartbeat was 150 and Dr.Klein had to chase the baby around to get it. I did move my ultrasound up to May 8th so we will know what we are having when we go to the Mom's Day Cookout. Off for lunch and a nap.

Tuesday Night

After dinner Madeleine had tons of energy. She was running circles in the kitchen and then was going down her slide. All of a sudden she jumped off the top of the slide to her chair. She did it several times and I told her if she did it again I was putting up the slide. She did it again so up went the slide. She threw a fit and then went to get on the couch. She jumped off the couch!!! What is wrong with her? Bed time did not come soon enough tonight.

Tuesday

Today we went to lunch with Kimmie. Everyday when I say it is almost lunch time Madeleine asks for Kimmie. We need to start going with Grand Dad also but he needs to let us know when he is less busy...HINT HINT. Anyways we to Chilli's for the Soup and Salad, which I can't seem to get enough of right now, but at least it is healthy. After that we came home and Madeleine went down for a nap. I wasn't planning on taking a nap so I got some stuff done and realized I was really tired, so I headed upstairs. I thought Madeleine would sleep for about a hour more so she would wake me up...nope. I woke up a hour later and Madeleine was still asleep. I came back down stairs got more done and started looking for recipes for dinner. I knew I was fixing shrimp but didn't know which recipe I was going to use. Finally at 5:00pm I figured I should go get my daughter up. She did not want to get up at all but she sleep for 3 hours and I want her to go to bed tonight. Jahno got home and had to get on the computer ASAP because he is on call and got a call. He went to the table and Madeleine wanted in her chair next to him. When he was on the phone she got on my phone and they both were talking. I kept having to tell her to whisper but it was cute.

We had Texas Shrimp and Rice. I did not realize I had a about a pound and a half of Shrimp...the actual recipe I bought the for called for 2 pounds but I never fixed them. That was a lot of shrimp!!! The dinner was simply but tasted amazing. Jahno and I both had 12 shrimp and Madeleine had 4 and we have a ton left over. Next time we will have to invite people over for this recipe...we will be eating shrimp for the next 3 meals.

Hmmm...

Madeleine and I had to run by the store to pick up a few things. Every time we go to HEB she wants to get in the baskets with the cars attached. I usually say no and distract her but that wasn't going to work today. She had been pretty fussy all day and I was not about to have her screaming all the way through the store. That is the hardest thing ever to push around. I was all over the isles and bumping in to things...it did keep Madeleine busy but there is no way I could have done that on a full blown shopping trip.
We had Lemon-Pepper Chicken and Mac and cheese for dinner. It was really good but I was getting nauseous as I ate it. Pulling the chicken off the bone, the grease, the sound all of it just was bothering me. I have issues with Beef and pork and now apparently chicken also. Maybe I need to become a vegetarian...
Off to put grumpy pants to bed.

She DOES Listening

Madeleine has been repeating everything we say but I was wondering how much really was sticking. We Sunday morning I was getting Madeleine ready for church and I buttoned her last button and said lets put your shoes on. Before I could even grab her shoes she said, "I'm Cute!" I kinda giggled and said "Yes, you are cute." Then as we were driving by my parents neighborhood and Madeleine was asking for Kimmie. We tried to explain she was at church and we were going to meet her there. How did she know that was Kimmie's neighborhood? Sunday night Madeleine and I did a little shopping before we headed to church. When we got to church she asked for her purse. I gave it to her and we began to walk in she stopped in the parking lot and said, "Wait, cellphone!" She got her cellphone out of her purse, opened it up and was pushing buttons as we walked in. I have no idea where she would have seen or learned that. Madeleine also made new friends, the people who sat behind us too her and she said with them for a while, she came back to us but towards the end of church went right back to them. The daughter is home schooled and can babysit during the day so I am very excited!
Jahno has another flat tire so I am going to have to spend another lovely day at Discount Tire...I am sure he picked up a nail driving through the high water. There was one part where he was driving through puddles in a construction area and he also drove over a board. I am going to start making him go to discount tire if he can't be careful. ;-)

Saturday's Adventure

We had a very busy Saturday. We got up and headed to my parent's, we needed to be there about 8:00am. Mom and I went to My cousin's bridal shower. Madeleine and Jahno and Grand Dad went Cracker Barrel for Breakfast. Then we headed to Jahno's boss or co-worker's daughter's birthday. We stayed there for a couple hours and then headed to Jahno's PawPaw's for his birthday. We were warned that their neighborhood was flooded in the front but we were planning on coming in the back. There was some higher water but low enough for us to go through. We ate our second lunch and Madeleine played for a while but it sounded like it was about to start pouring again so we left. We had to go back out the back again because of the water. We took 288 which was fine water-wise but there were parts Hwy 6 that were closed due to high water. So we had to take some back road through Alvin and it was a big maze! I was afraid we weren't going to make it home especially when Mustang was unpassable. We take some side roads and went up by McDonalds and the College. The other side of Mustang was ok and we made it home. Out 30 min trip took a hour and a half but we are home. It has started rumbling and raining again but at least we are home.

April Birthday Party

Mom's Club does a monthly birthday party (I think) for all the kids and we were finally able to go. Even though there was a chance of rain it was at Resoft Park. Madeleine wanted to start playing as soon as we got there. I was only able to keep her in the smaller playground for a short time and once she saw the big slides it was over. She also found the stairs and we went down the stairs, up the hill across the swing bridge over and over again. We also fed the ducks and Maddie actually fed them and didn't run when they came close. There were baby ducks which were sooooo cute! They were just as aggressive as the big ducks at getting bread. Here are some pictures.

After the party we went to Salad Express which was absolutely yummy!!! Then we had to go to Target to pick up a couple gifts. I like the fact that registry tell you what a person wants but with out a little picture it is very hard to find exactly what they want. There are isles and isles if the same product but different colors...seriously. Anyways, I finally found one of the several things I decided on and moved to the toys. Jahno's...I guess boss's daughter is having a birthday party and we were going to drop by. I know nothing about her and we don't have to bring a gift but I felt like we should take a little something. Jahno had told me she was 8 and was doing crafts when he was over there. Well, I tried to call him to double check on her age and I had no reception. So it came down to this Pottery Tea Set that you painted or this thing you make really cool jewelry out of. Well, She is the only girl and they have a dog so I figured the glass tea set would just break so I got the jewelry set it was not to mention it was for 4+ and the tea set was 8+. I finally got out of the toy section with this really cool jewelry set and cookie monster for Madeleine. As we left Madeleine did not want to hold my hand as we walked through the parking lot, so I held her by her arm, screaming through the parking lot. But once we got to the car she saw Harvey and was fine. What a mess! Oh Harvey is a bunny Meme gave Madeleine for Easter. Madeleine calls him Haarrr-Vey, It is so cute. So that was our Friday!

Friday

Yesterday we went over to my parents for dinner. I bought on of those meal deals from HEB and had a huge brisket. Madeleine and I went over there early since we were out. Madeleine had a little melt down and then Kimmie got there and everything was all better. We started cooking and then Grand Dad got home. Madeleine had Grand Dad take hid shoes and socks off and wanted to put the on. On a side note, with Madeleine it is shoesocks, they are one and have to go together. If you take your shoes off you have to take your socks off and vise versa. Anyways. So Grand Dad helped her get his socks and boots on and then she needed help walking. She is a bit of a mess and she talking about everything. The Brisket was really good and we went for Marble Slab after dinner and of course that was great! I did end up with a migraine I can't seem to kick which stinks but I will live and we are going to the Mom's Club April Birthday party this morning.

Thursday

The Spicy Mango Chicken never paned out. After it marinated for 24 hours, Jahno had a meeting after work so I was waiting until he was on his way to start cooking. I wasn't sure if Madeleine was going to eat it so I gave her a PBJ. Jahno's meeting was over by where that build collapsed so he made it sound like it was going to take him forever to get home. Well, it did not take him forever. As soon as he got home I went to cook the chicken...apparently he was starving and afraid it was going to take a while so we went to Joe's Bar BQ. I was going to cook the chicken the next night...Wednesday, but I was a little nervous because I completely thawed the chicken in warm water and the chicken was warm when I stuck it back in the fridge. 24 hours I am sure it would have been ok but 48 I was worried about Salmanela. (However you spell it) So we had Quesadilla's last night. So the cooking has slowed down a little bit, but I made a menu and I am trying.
Aunt Sue Sue got Madeleine a really cute Patio Chair. It was a pain to put together and it was missing a piece but it wasn't vital and it was all worth it to see Madeleine in it. She has been sitting in it every chance she gets and we took it outside yesterday and she sat in it and refused to get out of it. The only way I got her out for a split second was putting her duck where she had to get out of the chair to get it but she hopped right back in right after I got the picture.

Then I was trying to get her inside but she wasn't having it. I told her I was going inside thinking she would follow...Nope, she told me "Bye" and waved. I went to stand by her and she told me to go inside. We had a talk about her being bossy and I tried to go inside thinking she would follow now...nope again she told me "Bye". So I went and sat on the stairs and left the door cracked. She just watched me as she sat in her chair. Little Turkey! We finally made her come in and she threw a fit but came and sat in her chair inside.

Did that really just happen...

Madeleine and I took a shower this morning and we getting ready for the day. I was pretty much ready so I went to get Maddie dress. When Madeleine was like 6 months old I went shopping and found this really cute outfit but all they had was a 2T so I got it anyways and she would grow into it. I found it in her closet and decided she would wear it. I put the shirt on and it fit perfect and I put the shirt on and it looked a little loose but not any looser than her other pants. She looked so cute! As she was walking down the hall the skirt ended up around her ankles and she just looked at me. I was cracking up!!! You only see that stuff on TV but it happened. I grabbed my camera and the battery was dead...Grrr! I don't think a picture would have done it justice. I left the shirt on but switched out the skirt which she still looks really cute because the shirt is what makes the outfit.

Monday...

Well after an exhausting weekend we all slept very well last night. Madeleine even slept a little later and if she had not lost her pacifier even later...which would have been really nice. We went grocery shopping and I saved $18 on top of spending half of what I usually do because I took the advice of the hillbilly housewife. Maddie was being a little difficult but for some reason everyone wanted to stop and talk about how cute and well behaved she was. We finally finished and were heading home when Madeleine started telling me she was hungry. I decided to grab something and the whole way home she was saying "Please Mommy?" We got home and she ate 5 chicken nuggets while I put up the groceries. We both laid down for a nap...I slept for several hours...Madeleine slept for close to 5 hours...I guess we were all tired! I got ready to start dinner and I double checked the recipe to make sure how long it would take. I chopped and got everything together and then realized it did need to marinate....grrrrrr!!! So I put it in the fridge and called Jahno we could either go to Salad Expess or have PBJ's...I was thinking he would give in and we would go to Salad Express, but No. Everything else on the menu called for long prep or long cook times so grrrr. Maddie and I have PBJ's often so I really didn't want that. I searched and searched and decided to make Chicken salad...yes, I would have to chop more stuff but it was better than nothing. So today I have chopped more than I have my whole life between the 2 dinners and all my fruit! Well, dinner tomorrow will be easy, Grilled Spicy Mango Chicken...well marinated. I will get the hang of the cooking sooner or later...I WILL!!!
After Dinner, Madeleine was asking us to read to her...again and again. Usually she just say "Read, Read" and hands us a book. Tonight she looked at me and said "Mommy, Please Read." And sat down in her new chair. It was the cutest thing and just melted our hearts. So I read Thomas the Train 4 times! I will try to get some pictures of her new chair.

Happy Easter

I got in a little bit of trouble because I did not post any blogs last week. I was taking pictures all week just didn't get around to blogging. So here is everything.
Madeleine is definetely my child! She saw me eating a pickle and wanted some and then her own. She was making faces but kept asking for more and then was upset when they were all gone.

Next Madeleine has been putting our shoes on a lot lately. In fact she will chase us down, have us take our shoes off and she will put them on. Well, Last week Jahno had left a pair of his shorts downstairs and Madeleine found them. She put the on and was walking around the living room.

We went to Plano for Easter weekend. We left early Friday morning to run some errands and then off to Plano. Our trip up there was...interesting. Around Huntsville there was some construction and we were down to one lane and almost stopped when a truck did not see us, slammed on the brakes, smoke everywhere and swerved to the grass median and then stopped about 2 cars in front of us. Then Almost to Dallas a truck had a blow out, the truck in front of us ran over it and shot it up in the air. It came flying towards us and hit my windshield, I flinched and every muscle in my body tightened. Part if it went under the car also. We pulled over to check everything and as we turned we heard this terrible noise. There is a mark on my bumper and it ripped the plastic at the base of my wheel well so it was rubbing against my wheel. Jahno was able to push it back to drivable long enough to get almost to Plano. We had to stop at a church to push it back again and when we finally got to Aunt Sue Sue's house he had to fix it with tools and stuff. Once everyone else got there we visited for a little while and then went to Fresco for dinner. We ate a Babe's which is a good home cookin' place. You chose your meat which they had like 5 choices and then they bring your sides Family style and the sides were Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans and Corn. Everyone got Chicken Fried Steak except me and I got Smoked Chicken. Everything was amazing!!! The best I have every had and they had homemade biscuit...yummy! Then Saturday we got up and went to the King Tut Exhibit at the Dallas Art Museum and it was really neat. Madeleine did pretty good and we were able to see everything we wanted. We were a little irritated with the people who had the audio things because they would stand in front of the exhibit where no one else could see until their audio was over. Anyways. After that we went to this Mexican Food Resturant...I think Mottito's or something. They had the most amazing Guacomole I have ever tasted!!! We drove around the Dallas area for a while admiring the views and then back to the house. We relaxed for a while and then back to Fresco to go shopping and then to Mr.Gatti's. We had to stop and take some pictures with the Blue Bonnets on the way. We got to the mall and Aunt Sue Sue bought her owl which was amusing and then we rode the Carousel and shopped and then had a good dinner and played games and just had fun! Then this morning it was raining so we hunted eggs inside. We had so much fun and really enjoyed seeing the family.

"Watching" Madeleine

I was sitting on the couch with my feet on the ottoman. Madeleine had been going between Jahno and I asking us to read. She went around to the other side of the ottoman and sat down. I could still see her and it looked like she was reading. She ran to the kitchen to get a toy and the ran back over to her play area and then went back to behind the ottoman. She picked up something and I asked what it was and I thought she said Bandaid. I asked her to bring it to me and it was a piece of gum. I got up to look where that would have come from...it was all over the floor. Madeleine had gotten into my purse, unwrapped and tore apart a whole pack of gum. I looked for my camera but it was MIA. Also there were no wrappers anywhere around.I gathered up the gum and went to throw it away and there were all the wrappers in the trash...so at least she cleaned up after herself...kinda. And she did not put even one piece of gum in her mouth. So we are going to have to watch that kid a lot closer!
Also I tend to blame Jahno for Maddie's OCD tendencies. We got all of our Easter stuff for Maddie and MOM's Club and had some left overs. I decided I wanted a little packet of nerds. I opened them up and they were rainbow. My food can't touch and I don't mix flavors even with candy so this is a problem. Not even thinking I got a plate separated the colors and started eating the the blues and then the purples and as I finished the purples I realized what I had done. So I might have some OCD tendencies also...but Maddie's mainly come for Jahno. :-)
Oh and when we cleaning up before bed I found my camera.

Over Did It

Well, yesterday Jahno and I moved our King Size Temperpedic bed (It is ridiculusly HEAVY!), Our Futon, a dresser and a Queen size bed and then I cleaned cleaned cleaned our room. Last night when I finally stated slowing down I realized my lower back was kinda hurting but didn't think too much of it. Well, I knew I needed to relax a little bit before trying to going to sleep so I got into bed and was reading the paper. My back really started hurting! This morning My alarm went off and I couldn't move. I tried to get up to go to the bathroom and was in awful pain. I got back in bed reset my alarm and hoped to make it to Church. I couldn't really go back to sleep and the alarm went off again. Nope not happening. So I just laid there, Maddie and Jahno slept for a while. Finally they got up and got breakfast and here I am, hurting really bad. I am going to take some Tylenol and soak in a bath in a few minutes and see if that won't help. I guess I can't do everything I want and need to slow down and leave to heavy stuff to others. (Though other than the baby's furniture there shouldn't be anything else)

The Beach Trip

Well, I got Maddie up from her nap and she was still really sleepy and a little fussy. I was telling her we were going to the beach and we were going to have lots of fun but that wasn't helping. I got everything together and we walked outside and she just perked up, she was so cute with her glasses and hat. Before we left I told her she could take one toy with her. I had already packed a pail, shovel and a ball. Well she went and got Curious George, ok we will just leave him in the car at the beach. When I got in the car I realized I was really hungry so we stopped at Taco Bell for a snack, I got her Cinnamon Twists. She licked the good stuff off and left the rest. I did not know this until I went to eat one...ewwww. We got the the beach parked and got out. We walked down and she wasn't too sure of the sand. I put down the towel and pulled her shoes off but she wouldn't put her toes in the sand. We shoveled sand into the pail and she was bothered when sand got on the towel. It was a little chilly but it was her first trip so I wanted her to feel the water. It took a lot for me to get her off the towel but I final got her to walk to the water. The water hit her toes and she backed up. I scooted away to try to get a picture and a big wave came and got her pants wet and she started sinking...she hated the mud and tried to get it off her feet. We walked back up and she got on the towel and would not get off. We had fun and hopefully next time it will be warmer and we can really get in the water. (For some reason the pictures where put in reverse order, the trip starts at the bottom.)

Friday Thoughts

So Madeleine is napping and I usually nap with her but today I decided to stay up and clean a little and get ready for the beach. We are going to go to the beach for a little bit this afternoon. I just got this burst of energy and ideas of things to do. I just hit the second trimester so maybe that is the reason. Anyways. This weekend we are planning on moving everything around and get the baby's room empty, I am excited about that. Now just have to wait to find out the gender so I can start decorating. I was slightly obsessing over finding out what we were having but I no it will only take time. I did all the myths and all are pointing towards a boy though part of me still hopes for a girl. At MOM's club the other day we were talking about Car Seat Expiration dates. For some reason I was slightly obsessing, looking up every article I could find and found that car seats last between 5 and 6 years unless otherwise noted. So then I went to look at my car seat and after much searching I found the date in the plastic, "Do not use this car seat after December 2012". YAY I have plenty of time for this baby and maybe even another one. Just joking, we are just planning on 2. Anyways. I am going to go get Madeleine up and we are heading to the beach. I will blog and post some pictures later tonight.

Thursday Dinner

Tonight was Lemon-Pepper Red Snapper (Tilapia) and New Potatoes. We chose Tilapia because the only Red Snapper was a whole fish and I am just starting the cooking and not ready to skin and bone a fish...are those the terms? Anyways. I prepared the New Potatoes and put them in the over and start on the fish. I sprinkled the Lemon-Pepper on both sides and put it on the skillet. I cooked it a little longer than they said because I am always worried about under cooking meat. I put the 2 pieces on a plate and in the microwave and put the other 2 pieces in the skillet. When I went to pull the last pieces out of the skillet I pretty much dilapidated them. We sat down for dinner and the potatoes were great! We tried the fish and it was...well...overly seasoned! I used the right amount but the flavor was just too strong and the flavor had gone all the way through so we couldn't just scrape it off. I got a little sick because I got so hot in the kitchen so I just sat and drank some water. Finally Jahno said "Why don't I save the potatoes for tomorrow and we can go grab something?" So we had Whataburger for Dinner but here are some pictures of dinner.
The Potatoes.

The Dilapidated Tilapia.

Also due to the weather Strawberry Picking was cancelled again. So we are going to try for next Tuesday.
