Thrusday

I got fussed at for not blogging but not too much has been going on. We have gone to the gym this week. I might be pushing myself to hard which I seem to do often when working out. I had a lot of pressure and pain in my lower abdominal area. Wednesday my body would not go as fast and hard as I was telling it. So, Friday I am going to attempt to take it a bit easier and see what happens.
Madeleine knows when we pass Kimmie's work and cries for her. She also cries when we pass the gym because she wants to slide. Well, Monday we went to HEB and because I am starting to break her off the pacifier I let her ride in the car cart. Well, now every time we pass HEB she cries for the car cart. How does this kid know all these land marks?
We (me and Madeleine) are going to Arkansas this weekend for Sarah's Bridal Shower. I am a little worried because Madeleine hasn't been sleeping very well at night. But it should be fun. We leave Friday night and are coming back Monday Morning.
So that is all that has been going on this week...nothing interesting.

Mom's Day Cookout

It was a little bit of a hectic morning...Madeleine did not wake up until 8:45am. I woke up about 8:30, got up and tried to get to the store before Madeleine heard me. No go, as I started for the front door I heard, MAMA, MAMA, MAMA. I went back upstairs and Daddy was with her. I went to the store and was so scatter brained. I thought I just needed a hand basket, I got my first couple of things and realized I was going to need a basket...I had to go all the way back to the front. Got most of my groceries got over to the sporting goods for an ice chest and realized I forgot the sour cream. Had to go all the way back to the other side of the store. I got all checked out and bought 2 bags of ice, got to the car and realized I forgot to grab the ice...seriously! And I was parked in the boonies. Finally got home, got everything cooked and put together and got everything packed up. We had to go get me a swimsuit because I have grown and none of my swimsuits fit. That was an experience. We finally got to Candy's (my aunt) parents and the morning faded away. We went swimming right away. Madeleine had a blast. She loved the noodles and jumping in. She would count to 3, Jump and then scoot to the edge and have us pull her in. We all got out to un-prune and eat. The food was amazing, everyone did a great job. After lunch we started getting warm again so we got back in the pool. Madeleine was getting pretty brave and dipping her face and jumping off the steps. Candy's brother brought his puppy and Madeleine really wanted to love on her but the puppy was a little scared. When we made Maddie get out of the pool she was not happy but Maddie got to walk the puppy so she got over it. When we left Maddie fell asleep before we even made it to the tollway. It was so nice too see everyone and I think everyone had a blast!

It's a GIRL!!!

We started the ultrasound and the baby had her legs wide open waiting for us to confirm she was a girl and not a boy like everyone thought! Once we saw that she closed her legs and was done. She did not move hardly at all, I guess she was sleepy. She is a little bigger than average and my due date show October 6th...We'll just have to wait and see when she decides to come. Her name is Gianna Parker. I actually teared up, I guess I wanted a girl more than I thought. We are extremely excited!!!

Tonight while I was cooking dinner I decided to unload the dishwasher. Madeleine was playing with her laughing turtle and came over and brought me a spoon I left in the dishwasher. I told her thank you and she went back for more. I usually get onto her and tell her to let me do it because I don't want clean dishes on the floor but today I just watched. She went, got a bowl and actually put it in the right cabinet. She did that for all the dishes she could reach and left the heavy or glass ones for me. I guess I should start letting her do more. What a big helper!

Tuesday Night

This afternoon we walked by the Baby's room and Madeleine said Baby. I said yep, that is for the baby in mommy's tummy. I said, It is your brother or sister. I asked if she wanted a boy or a girl. She said a Boy, A boy! I asked what about a girl and she said NO! I just laughed.
I tried a new recipe which sounded really weird but it wasn't bad. It was a pizza crust, cream cheese, sliced apples and cheddar cheese. It was very interesting. The reviews stated they added sugar and cinnomin which would have been a little better because it was a little bland but it was good. Not sure if it is dinner or snack or what. We ate a couple of pieces but I cooked a frozen pizza for real dinner. Some recipes are winners, some are trying and some are just loser...This one tried.

Tuesday Morning

Madeleine woke up at 5:50am asking for her baba (pacifier), I was sooo worried she was going to won't to get up or rock but I ran in gave her the baba and ran out. I didn't hear a peep so I figured she went back to sleep. Jahno got up as soon as I got back to bed and then I had so issues going back to sleep. Jahno finally left and I thought finally I can get about an hour of sleep. WRONG! Madeleine was up as soon as Jahno locked the door. Someone please explain why when I set my alarm for 8 (not even that early) Madeleine does not want to get up but when I don't set my alarm and we can sleep in she is up way before 8? Anyways. She was saying "Diaper Wet", then "Mama, diaper wet" and then MAMA MAMA MAMA MAMA, until I was able to get in there. She had taken her diaper off and was trying to hand it to me. I pulled her out of bed and took her to the potty and set her on it. She went potty! Yay, so that was the good part of the morning but I am exhausted! I am really looking forward to nap time today.

Weekend #1

Like I said we are going to have a very busy May. Friday night we went out for Crawfish. I usually do not like them because they taste muddy to me...Yes I know they are mud bugs but still. Well, we were going to go to the Dog Track but it was going to cost $2 to get in and then a $1 more per pound so we decided to go to Baja Party Bar. We got the Crawfish and they didn't taste muddy, I was in shock! They weren't flavored but they gave us a cup of seasoning. Everyone else said they were awful, but they didn't taste like mud so I was good. But we were all still hungry so we went to Chilli's, I love Chilli's but I haven't been to the one on Nasa Road 1 in a while. Well, it was terrible. None of us liked what we ordered so we were 0-2. We decided to go to Marble Slab. They had the Cheesecake Frozen Yogurt so I got it...nothing what I expected and everyone tried it and said it tasted like spoiled milk. I broke down and just threw it away and had Heather go get me my regular, which is Cheese Cake Ice Cream and Chocolate covered Raisins. I didn't want to look like a pig. So 1-2 isn't great but it ended ok.
Saturday I went to Courtney's Baby shower and it was great! It was nice to see everyone and talk. She got a lot of really cute things and after everyone's showers I really want another girl. (Everyone is having girls and it is really cute stuff)I will be happy either way and I know I keep flip flopping on which one I want but girls stuff is just so much cuter...then again, you spend so much more money also. We find out on Friday and I can't wait!!! After the shower I came home and got Jahno and we headed to my parents for a Bar BQ/Hamburgers. We got there and Madeleine had to go for a "Motorcycle" ride. Mom and I tried to take her but didn't last long. It is hard to push and steer that thing. So when we got back to the house Madeleine didn't want to go in of course and Kimmie wasn't going to upset her so I asked the guys to come help. All the boys came out and we walked a little more. The mosquetoes were terrible so we came back and Natalie was able to convince Maddie to go in. We went to the back yard and sat and visited while Jason cooked. It was nice.
Sunday we got up for Church and poor Maddie did not want to get up. She was whining and crying but I don't blame her. She had been eaten up by the mosquetoes and she was extremely swollen! Her poor leg was 3 times the size as the other. At church we took up the whole pew which my parents liked. Madeleine did great at Church but after she was wired! We decided to go to Hot Wok for lunch and I finally got my sushi. Yummy! We went back to Kimmie's house and took family pictures and then went home so Madeleine could nap. It was a busy but wonderful weekend. I missed my aerobic class because Madeleine had a rough night and didn't want to get up. I didn't want to fight her so I let her sleep and we will go to the gym just to swim again.
