Madeleine was stacking her Pasta Pick Ups in the cart.

And here is the one picture of me and Jahno at the rodeo.

Again, I will try to do better about posting pictures!

Just some stuff

Well, yesterday I wasn't feeling too well. I had a head ache and was nauseous all day. Last night before bed Jahno and I were taking clothes downstairs to the laundry room, I had gone up and down stairs 3 times and the last time my face started tingling and I was really dizzy. Jahno told me to lay down and he started rubbing my head and then my belly. After a couple of minutes of rubbing my belly he said, "Wow, you really are starting to look pregnant." Is that a nice way of saying I am fat? ;-)

Today I put Madeleine in a onesie dress today. On the way to the store she started saying Belly Button. I told her I was sorry but she had a onsie on and we couldn't take it off. All the way through Wal-mart she kept saying Belly Button. I felt really bad, I didn't think it would be that big of a deal but she apparently is "needing" her belly button more. We also went out side and used Side walk chalk for the first time and she would write a line and then walk a couple of steps and write another line. It was so cute!

Rodeo

We went to the rodeo on Saturday afternoon....it was, well...the worst rodeo I have ever been to! All of the contestants did horrible, most got penalties or disqualified and the ones that did qualify were pathetic times and scores. Then one of the helpers was hearding a horse and his horse fell over. The guy got up and pet his horse and walked him out, I was so upset because the horse seemed stunned and I was just hoping the horse wasn't hurt. Well, then shortly after that a bucking horse came out fell and broke is leg. Oh yes, the leg was dangling and they had already said how the horse was really old so you know they are just going to put it down. I was almost in tears and having to cover my eyes because the leg was so bad. It was really depressing. Then I thought they were going to skip the calf scramble which is my favorite part, but they didn't. They did it in less than half of the arena so it was very quick and not very exciting, so it was a pretty disappointing. They did have this new event called Mutton Busting...I think. Well, these little kids 4-6 ride sheep. It was so cute!!! They had the bull fighters down there which just added to the cuteness. The first few kids fell pretty fast but when they fell off they would get up and throw there hands in the air. The older kids came up and they were able to hold on longer, in fact one of them held on almost the whole time. Then here comes one kid, held on while the sheep was jumping and then rode on the side before falling, the kid got up, and threw HER hands up. Yep, Her,it was a girl!!! I was super excited and decided Maddie needed to do that. She is a little tank and very strong willed and would e perfect. Now if she will stay tough! Josh Turner was the concert and it was really good! He is so hot and his voice doesn't seem to match him but who cares! So rodeo was awful, Maddie is going to ride a sheep one day and the Concert was great!

One Night of Queen and the Museum

Saturday morning we went to the Children's Museum with our friends Aimee, Gary and Grant and Beau, Erica and Elijah. The kids seemed to really enjoy and so did the adults. I was feeling pretty claustrophobic so I didn't get too many pictures but here are some of them.

Madeleine loves chairs...especially when they are her size. Oh and she loves books so this little room was perfect for her.

Another chair and this time she was building with blocks.

Gary did a puppet show for Madeleine and Grant. The kids weren't too sure about the puppets.

The kids really seemed to enjoy the ball pit. Grant was very content just holding all the balls. Madeleine wanted to throw them and Elijah was jumping into the pit.

Madeleine loved the water part.

We also had a nice little picnic in the courtyard and then our family had to leave. We took Madeleine to Grandma Kimmie's house and we went home to change. Jahno had to stop by a guys house to get some work done and then we were on our way to the House of Blues. I told him I needed a little snack because I was starving. We planned on going to Katz after the show but I knew I couldn't last that long. Every fast food place downtown was closed so after we walked tons of blocks we went back to the House of Blues Restruant. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and it was great. It was very cheesey and hit the spot. Then we headed to the 3rd floor for the shoe. We saw a lot of interesting people going in and we thought it was very humorous that they patted Jahno down and they wanded me. The show started and I was amazed. The lead singer was very flamboyent, energetic and entertaining!!! The started of with skin tight white pants with sparkley stripes down the sides, a wife beater and a jacket with buckles all the way down. After one song he lost the jacket, after 2 songs he lost the wife beater and then we started to worry. Jahno was very amazed at how tight the guys butt was. I on the other hand thought the drummer was hot! Anyways. They played most of the popular Queen songs and different people would sing their favorite song, that was until they started playing Bohemian Rhapsody. The whole place went crazy, there was not one person in the whole place who wasn't singing, jumping and dancing!!! It was awesome!!! Second place was Fat Bottem Girls which was great also. The guitar player was amazing also. This was by far the best concert/show I have ever been to and if I ever hear of them coming back I will be there again!!!

Madeleine Alaine

I have noticed that Madeleine is changing again. When she smiles her top teeth are finally starting to show. Well, today when I was changing her diaper she was talking to me and I saw some teeth. I got excited and she actually let me look in her mouth...her top K-9s. The doctor has be saying she should be getting them shortly since she was 12 months but the top ones are finally here!!!
Also today Madeleine had Bean Dip and Fritos for the first time. She really liked it. When she started dipping she wasn't getting any beans but she acted like it was the best thing she ever tasted. Madeleine Alaine is my child!

Just Stuff...

Well, to start with Madeleine has been a little bit of a mess lately. I guess she is getting use to being home again but she has had some fits and is a little bit bossy right now. We are working on it though. We are going to the Children's Museum on Saturday with a group for our old church and I think Madeleine will have a blast. Then Saturday night Jahno and I are going to a Queen Tribute Concert and we are pumped. So that is what is going on.
Another topic...I never really want alcohol. I mean when we go out I have a drink or two or ten, just joking, but I have never just said I want a drink. Well, for some reason I really want a frozen margarita with salt. That is not even my drink of choice usually but I really really want one right now. I have quite a while before I can have one, so hopefully this craving will go away.

Zoo Trip

Amy invited us to go to the Zoo with them on Saturday and we had a blast. It was really windy and cold in the morning but it did warm up a little as we were leaving. Grant and Maddie really seemed to enjoy themselves.

We had a little picnic and let the kids run around for a little bit. Madeleine wanted to touch the water so bad.

Grant kept dropping his container and Maddie was getting upset about that.

Then we played in the Kiddie Zoo. And then we took the kids into the petting zoo. Gary and Jahno were making comments about how dirty the animals were and how we needed to wash our hands. Grant pulled the goats ear and the goat did not even move.

It was a lot of fun for both the kids and us "adults".
