Christmas eve we decided to have our Christmas and invited the Grandparents over. We had Frito Pie and then got ready to go look at lights so Santa could come. We put out the cookies and milk, Maddie took a bit to makes sure the cookies were ok for Santa and then we left. It was rather disappointing because there were not very many lights up but this whole December has been wet and nasty so I understand. We got back and Madeleine seemed to be in shock and Gianna was sleeping though it. Madeleine opened all her gifts and began playing with everything. Gianna finally woke up and we started opening her gifts and she interacted way more than any of us expected. It was wonderful. Then Christmas morning we headed over to Kimmie and Grand Dad's for their Christmas. Maddie again loved everything and Gianna slept through it again. We were suppose to go to Jahno's family's for lunch but his parents had brought their gifts over the night before and we were still suppose to head out to Victoria so he decided to skip that one. We headed to Victoria and got a hotel room since we had the little girls and everyone else was staying at Meme's. The girls had lots of fun. Jason had drawn Jahno's name and he wrapped cash in a roll of toilet paper so that was funny and my Dad drew my name and I got A&M gear so I was pumped also! We had a lovely Christmas.
Gianna seems to be getting better after the surgery and the infection. The pathology is having problems because the mass was so bloody and dead but it is looking like an ovary. The doctor said every now and then kids are born with multiply organs. We should have the final results in about another week. Gianna now has a nasty little cough but the doctor said it is just a cold and to watch it. When I took Gianna to the doctor, Madeleine ended up getting shots...I know mean Mommy! But Madeleine did great, she did not even cry! Well here are pictures from Christmas...they might be out of order but I will try.
